Developmental Teams

Grades 3-12


Participating in developmental teams provides youth athletes the opportunity to learn fundamentals and skills through structured team practices and games in a supportive environment.

We offer an experience that stands apart from recreational leagues, emphasizing development through professional coaching and meaningful opportunities to play and improve.


  • Dedicated and Experienced Coaching Staff: Our coaches are professionals—not parent volunteers—committed to helping each player develop their skills and understanding of the game.
  • Unrestricted Playing Time: Every athlete has the chance to play and develop in real game situations, ensuring they gain valuable on-court experience.
  • Extended Season and Enhanced Preparation: With a longer season, more scrimmages, and focused practices, players are better prepared for competitive tournament play.


The fall season for boys grades 3-12 runs 9/28-12/13/26, with practices Monday and Thursday evenings in Renton. Games/scrimmages take place 2-3 weekends per month throughout the season.


No tryouts; register below by 9/12, and your child will be placed on a team that fits their age and skill level.


The cost is $875 and includes uniform, t-shirt, practices, and games/scrimmages.

AAU Teams

Grades 3-12


AAU basketball teams offer youth athletes a platform to participate in structured team practices and competitive tournament play, providing a challenging and rewarding environment for skill development.


Tournaments are primarily held in the Greater Seattle area, giving players frequent opportunities to compete against strong regional talent. Additionally, select tournaments may involve travel to other locations, offering athletes the chance to experience diverse competition, build camaraderie with teammates, and broaden their exposure to different playing styles and environments.

Scrimmage Squads

Participate in scrimmage matchups to build skills, teamwork, and confidence all through real-time gameplay feedback.


Join the Northwest Rockets Scrimmage Squad! Scrimmage Squad is for youth athletes in grades 3-12 looking to participate in scrimmage matchups to build skills, teamwork, and confidence all through real-time gameplay feedback. The fee to play starts at $20 per game.
